A Computer for RESPECT Sierra Leone
      by Marco Zoppi

Timothy Anderson, president and founder of World Computer Exchange (WCE), announced the donation of a laptop computer to RESPECT Sierra Leone.

WCE is a global education and environment non-profit organisation that helps connect youths. To date, they have delivered almost 27,000 computers to about 65 countries!

Luc Aalmans, a WCE programme officer for Sierra Leone, will take the laptop with him when he visits the African country during the last week of June.

Luc is skilled in electrical and mechanical engineering and has a keen interest in computers. He plans to use these skills to help setup computers in the lab and to work with children to become more familiar with computers and the internet.

This is also an opportunity for Luc (as well as for us) to learn more about Sierra Leone and the needs of people living there, through his on-the-ground experience.
