PRODUCT DETAILS
QUALITY (Digital Product Passports)
All devices are rigorously tested and refurbished. Many include a digital product passport with detailed specifications and test results.
WARRANTY
Due to the challenges of returning equipment internationally, warranty terms are customized for each shipment.
For international shipments of 20 or more computers, additional units are typically included at no extra cost as backups.
For domestic shipments within the United States, a 90-day warranty is standard.
BATTERIES
Batteries are tested to hold a charge, but battery life is not guaranteed and is not covered under warranty.
SHIPPING DETAILS
Calculate Total Costs
While we aim to keep prices affordable, there are unavoidable costs for sourcing, testing, and shipping. Please review pricing carefully and account for shipping fees and import taxes.
Shipping costs depend on the weight and dimensions of the shipment and can only be finalized once the order is prepared.
Importing Can Be Challenging
We strongly recommend working with a customs broker to help streamline the import process.
Be Prepared to Pay Taxes
Although tax waivers may be available, they are not guaranteed and can take time to process. Budgeting for import taxes in advance is often more efficient.
Some countries impose high import duties—sometimes up to 100% of the declared value. Research your country’s regulations before placing an order.
International Shipping Costs
Shipping rates vary depending on destination, weight, and shipment size. Both air and ocean freight options are available.
In-Country Transportation
After arrival at a port (seaport or airport), you are responsible for arranging transportation to the final destination.
Lithium Batteries Are Hazardous Materials
Laptops contain lithium batteries, which are classified as hazardous materials and may not be accepted by all carriers.
We follow proper packaging and compliance procedures. In general:
Air freight is often more manageable for shipping laptops with batteries
Ocean freight may require special handling, as battery-containing devices cannot always be mixed with other goods
Import Restrictions
Some countries restrict or prohibit the import of used computers. For example, nations such as Rwanda and Uganda have strict regulations. Verify your country’s policies before applying.
Consider Local Options
Before placing an order, compare total costs—including shipping and importation—with local sourcing options. In some cases, local procurement may be more cost-effective and convenient.
Our mission is to expand access to technology, and when local solutions are more practical, we encourage you to pursue them.
