Diverse Impacts of Liberia Shipment

Before the pandemic, WCE shipped 484 computers to Liberia. Those computers benefited many groups, including schools, organizations, and hospitals.

Student Leads Refurbishing Club in Atlanta

Junior Howard Hua is the president of Wheeler Technical Community, a WCE Refurbishing Club, at his high school in Atlanta. Through this experience, Howard has developed invaluable skills, including computer repair, fundraising, and leadership.

Former Volunteer Becomes New Strategic Ally

Former WCE volunteer Nelly Cheboi is the founder of WCE’s newest Global Strategic Ally, TechLitAfrica, which connects Kenyan schools with digital resources. With fiscal sponsorship from WCE, TechLitAfrica was recently able to ship 130 computers to Kenya.

WCE Names 1st Teacher Fellow

WCE named Beatrice Nyinawingeli of Remera, Rwanda as the first WCE Inspire Girls Teacher Fellow. She will be granted laptops and $200 to develop a sharable teacher resource from her project, which trains young mothers in computers and sewing.
